Fundraising for Underprivileged Children
I believe that all children should be able to train martial arts regardless of challenges they face, be they physical, mental or financial. I also believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn how to defend themselves if need be. Over the years I have seen how families unable to pay for programs have not been able to benefit from all that martial arts has to offer.
I see the children in my program develop confidence, self-esteem and an increased ability to focus. Skills that benefit them at school, with friends and future jobs. Many skills are acquired through karate training including patience, that help cultivate success. Red Bamboo dojo in Port Credit teaches students how to defend themselves, if necessary.
In an effort to provide all children with the opportunity to train I have started a GoFundMe account for donations. 100% of your donation will go directly to a child in need for their training fees, grading fees and/or uniform.
